The Women’s Achieve Summit will take place October 14-15, 2019, in Richmond, Virginia at the Greater Richmond Convention Center. Hosted by a special guest, the Summit will celebrate the achievements of women in Virginia and American history, while also exploring the issues women face in the 21st century. The summit will represent the diversity of American women and honor the 1619 commemorative cultures: African, English and Virginia Indians.
The multi-faceted, interactive event will include interviews with women pioneers, panel discussions, heartfelt storytelling from Virginia women, and audience interaction. It is produced in collaboration with another Virginia legacy event, the Virginia Women’s Conference hosted by Senator Mark Warner. Senator Warner will serve as the Honorary Co-Host to the Summit. The 2019 Women’s Achieve Summit will honor the role of women 400 years ago, today, into the future. The event is presented with Virginia Women’s Conference.
